The Medical Physics Education Program is available to enrolled Dartmouth PhD students in engineering and the physical sciences, and have an undergraduate preparation in physics (of at least 4 courses beyond introductory college physics).
The program is currently only available to PhD students at Dartmouth. Students must apply to and be admitted to the MBA program. The PhD experience will be counted as post-bachelors degree work experience. Matriculating students must enter with the regular Tuck class in the fall and complete the required first-year Tuck core curriculum.
Glyn Elwyn is the director of the Institute’s Patient Engagement program. He has assembled an international interdisciplinary team, The Preference Laboratory, examining the implementation of shared decision making into clinical settings, using innovative tools and measures, such as CollaboRATE, a patient experience measure of shared decision making and Observer OPTION, for use on recorded data.
Meghan Longacre is the director of the online master of public health program at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. She is also a child developmental researcher with expertise in the socioecological influences on children’s, adolescents’, and young adult’s health risk behaviors.
